Will it hold my phone with a case on?
Yes. N52 is the strongest commercial grade, so it grips securely through most MagSafe-compatible cases.
Do I need glue, or does it press-fit?
Glue-in. Drop the ring into the printed pocket and secure with a few drops of CA glue (super glue) or 2-part epoxy — that gives the strongest, permanent hold.
What printer and filament do I need?
Any FDM printer and any filament. The free STL files are tuned to the ring's measured size so it seats flat and true.
Is this real MagSafe?
It's MagSafe-compatible: sized to Apple's accessory geometry so it aligns correctly and won't fight the charging coil.
